John Doyel, MA, CADC-II, has been the Program Manager for ADMHS Alcohol and Drug Program since April 2010.  He has over 23 years of experience in the alcohol and other drug (AOD) field, including working in vocational rehabilitation, social work, and AOD prevention and treatment.  His places of employment have taken him through private non-profit rehabilitation facilities, a Veteran's Administration Hospital, private for-profit DUI agencies, a psychiatric hospital, and county governments. 

John was an administrative supervisor for the County of Ventura Behavioral Health from 2000 to 2006 and has been with the County of Santa Barbara ADMHS since 2006.  His specialties include the implementation of evidenced-based treatment practices, the development of administrative policies and procedures, and recovery oriented systems of care. Mr. Doyel holds Masters Degrees in History and Counseling Psychology. He is a certified and licensed alcohol and drug counselor.
