The
Office of Long Range Planning works
with local residents to develop goals,
policies, programs and land use in
each planning area. Some areas of the
County have community plans while others
are planned under the Countywide Comprehensive
Plan. General land
use policy in the County is governed
by the Comprehensive Plan in the inland
areas of the County and by the Local
Coastal Plan in the coastal zone.
