Announcing the Public Release of the County Surveyors Interactive Map
for record research
 
This is a web based internet mapping application that provides an interactive spatial environment to research Recorded Land Survey Information within the County of Santa Barbara. It has various search capabilities, and direct links to access our inventory of over 30,000 Recorded Maps
Save time and use our Surveyor Information Online Resource, where you can view, print, and download over 30,000 Recorded Maps.
The Division at a Glance Division Profile:
The Surveyor Division is responsible for maintaining accurate land records within the County of Santa Barbara.
The Division has been allocated 15 full-time positions and has seven general areas of responsibility:
1) Checking and recording subdivision maps and documents.
2) Providing survey related data to the general public.
3) Conducting field surveys for County projects.
4) Providing real property services for the Department of Public Works.
5) Providing Right-of-Way information for the Department of Public Works.
6) Providing and coordinating Geographic Information Systems (GIS) services and mapping for the Department of Public Works and,
7) Administration of various State and local programs.
