Continuum of Care (CoC) Program

The CoC Program is designed to address the critical problem of homelessness through a coordinated community-based process of identifying needs and building a system of housing and services to address those needs. The County of Santa Barbara serves as the collaborative applicant for the Santa Maria/Santa Barbara County CoC.

 Please find below the 2018 Santa Maria/Santa Barbara County Continuum of Care Application and Priority Listing, which will be submitted as the 2018 CoC Consolidated Application for the Santa Maria/Santa Barbara County Continuum of Care (CoC). Together these documents comprise the funding request for the CoC Program for the Santa Maria/Santa Barbara County CoC for the 2018 competition.

The Priority Listing and CoC Application are posted here for review by the public and all stakeholders in the homeless system of care, including any experts or community members who have feedback they would like to share prior to submission on September 17, 2018.

We appreciate all the hard work that the various stakeholders contributed to prepare for this NOFA and throughout this process, especially to the applicants and their staff who devoted extensive time to preparing and submitting funding applications over the course of the past several months.

It is with great excitement that we invite you to join the Santa Maria / Santa Barbara County Continuum of Care (CoC)!  The CoC is the regional planning body that coordinates the community's policies, strategies, and activities toward preventing and ending homelessness. 
Through the Continuum of Care, community stakeholders engage on the issues facing Santa Barbara County's low-income population, homeless individuals and families, and other at-risk populations, and become part of the solutions being offered to address those challenges.
