HR Priorities

As we closed FY 2018/19, HR focused on aligning and integrating HR structures and systems to the County's Renew '22 efforts.  We now enter the new fiscal year focusing on the following four priorities:

  • Create a Feedback Culture for transparency and collaboration
  • Keep Top Talent Inspired to retain and engage a creative workforce
  • Implement Digital Solutions to transform how we work
  • Establish strong internal controls for operational effectiveness

The set of HR Priorities lays the foundation for the shift the department is prepared to make as we move toward Renew '22 achievements.  Albert Einstein said," It cannot be changed without changing our thinking."  Establishing these priorities has, in fact, required a commitment from the HR team to re-invent itself and innovate in the way we think of our work.
