2015 Statewide Medical and Health Exercise

Anthrax Attack: Mass Prophylaxis

The Emergency Medical Services Agency (EMS) and the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) program have begun the planning process for the annual Statewide Medical and Health Exercise Program. There is a four stage planning process culminating in the Statewide exercise on November 19th.

The 2015 Statewide Medical and Health Exercise is a regional exercise- stretching from the Mexico border up the San Luis Obispo. This year the scenario will test the counties ability to respond to a release of weaponized anthrax using mass prophylaxis.
