Access our updated 2015 all-Cancer Resource Guide in English and Spanish for our region online to locate other organizations and programs with free or low cost breast and cervical cancer resources for screening, treatment, and support services. The guide also features national, state, regional, and local resources available for various cancers. For the Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County sections click here . The special Ventura County only portion of the guide is available in English and Spanish. Please note the guide is a work in progress.
Our health educators provide tailored health education presentations about breast and cervical cancer and the availability of the free Every Woman Counts (EWC) program for eligible uninsured and low income women. Reaching medically underserved, high risk older women with education and referrals to care is a special priority for EWC and our staff. Contact us directly or call (805) 681-4783 to schedule a presentation. We offer education in English, Spanish, Tagalog, and Mixtec.
Call Toll-Free Information Line to Prequalify for EWC
Women interested in EWC services may also call the EWC program's toll-free, multilingual eligibility line directly at 1-800-511-2300 to prequalify and receive a referral to a local EWC provider. The state website has additional information about eligiblity requirements and income guidelines. There is also an on-line clinic locator.
Referrals to Treatment and Other Resources for Californians Diagnosed with Breast or Cervical Cancer
Free treatment is available to all Californians who qualify through the Breast and Cervical Cancer Treatment Program . Call (800) 824-0088 to speak with an eligibility specialist.
